What my plan was originally going to be was, mention to my parents I want to see a therapist (also to get the ball rolling on coming out), but I don't know if I should just make an appointment with a therapist, and then tell my parents. :bang:

Hi there! It might be worthwhile to make an appointment with a counsellor/therapist first as you could also then talk with the therapist about coming out to your parents, and perhaps gain some additional insights in how you could approach things.

How comfortable are you with the idea of coming out to your parents? Do you feel that your parents would be supportive?

Depends on your parents. Maybe tell them you want to see a therapist but don't list the reason?
