After you came out to your spouse, and got over the initial reaction, what options did you have or consider as a way to separate your lives? Did you live as room mates? Pack you stuff and run? What about jointly purchased items? did you try and live s a couple still? I'm thinking we will live as roommates for awhile while we sort out the finances and decide who gets the house(we rent) and who gets what furniture and while we collect the furniture we each need and sae for damage deposit. This will give our children time to get used to the idea of us separating and hopefully it will ease the transition. what are your thought, expiriences, and/or advice? Is there something I forgot to consider? Am I overthinking??
