I want to know how to ask my crush out on a date or something. Im not entirely sure what his orientation is, but if he is straight how do I keep him from freaking out or something? Should i just ask him straight out, or subtlety. If anyone can help me out with this, please do. Much appreciated.
Hi there! Given that you are not sure as to what his orientation is, why not speak with him a bit more first so that you can get a better sense of him. The better you get to know him, the easier you will be able to gauge a) his sexual orientation and b) whether there is a chance of things working out the way you are hoping they will. In other words, by getting to know him, you will be able to ready yourself for asking him out, or perhaps even to start moving on. Does your crush know that you are gay?
If there is already a good chance that he knows, you could try confirming it once you have spoken with him a few more times, and take it from there.
