I've been incredibly anxious all day...convinced I'm dying..I have an anxiety disorder and no friends or support i'm so scared
Ok, let's start with what makes you anxious. Now, is there a rational way to show that it doesn't matter as much as you think or that you shouldn't worry about it? (silly question since rational or no, it's anxiety but had to ask). For anxiety, one thing to do is to do something else. Walk, read, paint, anything other than what makes you anxious. The point isn't to get rid of it but to not escalate it. Working on breathing is huge, counting while you do it. Some people meditate. Doesn't work for me, but maybe it will work for you.
