My Mom said something about don't be "spending too much time on internet forums about sexuality". I was drunk one night, and I think I might've left the browser open. Well, I already told my parents everything so if they found it they found it. It's not really a problem in terms of it really being anything that people wouldn't already imagine, but I've written about some private stuff I've done/wanted to do posting in the sexual health section....... quite a bit more than I'd care to reveal.... to my family nonetheless :rolle: Would it be possible to have my username/password changed? This is just kind of embarrassing.
Just create a thread in Ask the Staff and let us know the username you'd like. Your password you change yourself from the "My Settings" tab at the upper left.
I had this happen to me too. My boyfriend found my post and I felt so violated because some of the things I had posted in the past were extremely personal. I did what the other have suggested and wrote to the staff. They were very nice and took care of my user name. Now all my post have the new user name.
I got my username changed. Yeah, it's a little embarrassing, but it's okay. They may have seen some stuff I posted in the physical health forum about sexual stuff, but it's not like it's anything that wouldn't already be obvious given that I've already told them about being bi....... I mean I wouldn't have voluntarily shared it, but if people saw they saw. It's not something I'm going to lose any sleep over and I don't really feel "violated" so much as just a little embarrassed.
YEah, this happend to me. EC kept showing up on every new firefox tab brecause I came on so often. My brother found which id written in detail about my first crush ... very embarressing. He never mentioned it though, but im pretty sure he saw it. i had my account removed and i made this one ask the staff like mentioned above

Pro-tip: Always use the "private browsing"! For work reasons I got my entire hard drive encrypted but I still use the private browsing and don't have not any book marks here just in case someone wants to use my computer. Oh, and I'm so paranoid I even have encrypted VPN connection to prevent my ISP from snooping where I surf.
Hah, yeah I know the feeling. I used to be like that with porn and stuff...... and I would've been horrified if I thought my family had seen what I had written on here :eek: However, it's amazing how I'm not really that bothered by this having possibly been seen. I obviously wouldn't care to discuss it or make it public intentionally........ but it wouldn't exactly be much of a shock. Plus, it would take a real asshole to bring it up to me, especially if they were going to make fun of me about it or judge me about it somehow....... and since that didn't happen, I'd actually kind of feel better in a way seeing that they didn't use it to try to make me feel bad and guilty about my sexuality.
