How many time is it possible to have a distance relationship and see each other only once a month more and less?
It depends on how far away you are and how much money you're willing to spend. My girlfriend lives 2,000 miles away and we have only met up once in the 11 months that we have been together. A lot of that was work related issues.
I believe the term is GUD - Geographically Undesirable. This can be very tough on both parties. I know some couples that are incredibly secure in themselves and their relationship and can make this work. I am not one of those unfortunately. I do much better either being alone, or in a wholly consuming relationship with daily contact. - J
Also depends on the relationship. I've been with my girlfriend for two years, the majority of that long-distance. The first year and a half we were a nine-hour drive apart. Then six months ago she moved overseas (temporarily) while I stayed behind in the U.S. It sucks but we make it work.
