I am under eighteen and I want to text a counselor about my worries about coming out, confusion about my sexual orientation, etc. but the only website I know about that offers that service for kids for free is Childline, and I live in America, so I can't contact them. Does anyone know of a FREE service I can use (Keep in mind that I'm a kid) to text a counselor about my worries? It has to work in America.

    Hi,

We don't do text, but EC's advisor team is reachable via PM and can help with those sorts of issues. The advisors are not counselors, but are all pretty experienced with the issues that most LGBT youth are experiencing and can be very helpful. Outside of that, I don't immediately know of a help line that has actual licensed counselors on it.
