So I don't know why but every time that anything LGBT related is brought up, I get really rosy and un-confortable. Like really un-confortable. The only exception is with my dad. And it's not just when bigoted people are talking. The same goes for allies and other LGBT people.
Two days ago, my lit. class went to see a play from the drama club and it was (in-directly) about LGBT rights and I just pretended to have to use the restroom real badly and left like 3 minutes into the performance.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes, it is quite normal to feel that way, especially at a young age or for closeted individuals. When LGBT stuff comes up, we know that we are in that group and the discussion/situation pertains to us so it feels like there is a spotlight on us, whether the people around us know we are LGBT or not.
