Is life worth it?

I know the feeling, but yes, life is worth it. I find most people focus on the negative, rather than the positive, which makes it seem as though life is a field full of shit with a few patches of grass.

If you don't mind me asking, what brought these feelings on? Anything specific?

 

All we know for sure is that the life you were given is the only chance a person gets. Use it, because it's your life. I can relate a lot to feeling down, but at the end of the day I know that I life is worth it, because every sunny day, raindrop on my skin and breath of fresh air reminds me of how being alive feels like. Stay positive, because looking at the dark moments is just time you lost.

 

I'm having a really shitty few months, failing in just about every area of life...but while battling through all the bullshit, long nights, anxiety and depression, i realized that i love life!! To me the creativity that humans have is life saving, i've buried so many of my sorrows in music, films and my own creations!

In the long run, yes. You might be going through a tough time now, but things will eventually get better. You just need to hang in there until something amazing happens, and then it will all feel worth it. (*hug*)

The way I see it, I still have a long life ahead of me, and I don't know for certain what might happen up ahead. Something great could happen any day now, and if I'm not living, then I don't get to experience it.

Hey- It'll get better, eventually
We're very young, there's so much ahead of us. Maybe it's not worth it at the moment, but there are definetely amazing parts of life- as well as shitty parts of life.
Thing is, when you're sad about a particular thing, it's hard to get out of that mood because everything negative comes flooding back.

Just keep pushing through. Do whatever you can to feel happy- or at least, as happy as you can be?
Do you have any hobbies or passions you like? Good friends? All of these will make you feel less shitty in general.

Listen,life is indeed shit,but give her some chances.you are young enough to make anything better,you should just focus on your study for the next few years and you will be fine. I was very suicidal and I have somewhat reduced a bit and this crisis about my gender had to happen in the most important year of my life so yeah. Be patient man,I'm sure you will work your way out.

 

Then take pictures of happy things! Like cute stuff! I take pictures of my cute dog all the time and it definitely cheers me up. ^^

hey ur young we all go thru that stage, well most of us, i did anyway....im baraly starting to love life at 26...give it time, ull find urself and what makes u happy and ull see its not so bad...when in worst, try and make the best of it no matter how hard it is, force urself...try not to get sucked into the thoughts, when u do force urself to do sumthing active...keep ur head up

Oh yes life is very much worth living!!

I have been there and back again. I can truly assure you that it gets better!!!!

 

The way I look at life is that nobody is gonna remember the majority of us 500 years from now. Life, to me, is about the legacy you leave behind with those that have loved you. How they remember you, is it fondly, what kind of person you were, things like that. In the grand scheme of things we are all only here a hot minute, and it falls upon us to make that time as memorable as we can.
Life throws an unbelievable amount of shit at us sometimes and we just do the best we can to somehow trudge thru it all. As much as it would be nice to never face the dark things in life, it's because of the dark times that the good times are so much sweeter. Nobody knows what the future holds in store for themselves, but definitely worth sticking around to find out.

 

Of course they'd remember you! It's hard to just forget someone existed.
