Straight crush: I feel angry and im the only one to blame

    So, i have had this massive crush on a stranger from work i exchanged more than a few glances with and couple of friendly conversations. The problem is i never knew if she was gay and i have the tendency if falling for all sort of girls only to realise later that they are straight.

    Today reality hit hard when, i was going back from my lunch break i saw her kissing, what i am going to assume, her boyfriend. It literally felt like someone riped my heart out and i feel stupid for it. I even forced myself to stare and kept repeting myself "she is not for you" but it still hurts a lot.

    I try to think of it as a sign, as i just handed in my notice yesterday from a terrible job and the only thing that kept me going really was knowing that i might run into her every so often...i feel sad and angry for falling this way for straight girls. I have gone through many identical situations and its killing me each time a bit more....help please

    If you could control a crush, you'd be the only one ever to do so. You can't choose who lights your fire. Your anger is at the whole situation; it shouldn't be at yourself. Sometimes things just suck.
