If you are hiding something from your partner, then it is very likely that you are doing something wrong.

Unless you both explicitly agreed on a non-exclusive relationship, then dating sites aren't a good thing.

If the relationship isn't working for you, talk to your partner and be honest about your feelings. That's the best thing to do, for both of you.

Cheating is never the answer. There is no "but...", there are no excuses.

I didn't said that. I'm talking about the question, in general.

I'm debating this as well. I'm just, tired of feeling lonely. I have no way out of this right now so, is a little fling a bad thing? Just wondering...

As i said, cheating is never the answer.

If you are in a relationship that isn't working for you, the best thing to do is to sit down with your partner and talk about it, and either change the way things works, or break up.

Certainly, breaking up is a hard thing to do. Cheating sounds a lot easier, right?

However, in the long term, cheating is not only extremely unethical, but it also creates problems for everyone involved. Breaking up is hard in the short term, but, after the initial shock, it is a lot better for everyone.

There is simply no excuse for cheating. It isn't honest, it does a lot more harm than good, it destroys the basis of a relationship, which is trust. It is simply not worth it.

Well, to be quite honest, thinking about it, in reality friendship is really what I want. Its probably all I need. It could blossom someday, but I don't look for it to. Surely friends are okay..

    Are you in a relationship?

If yes, then you should talk to your partner about this. There is no need to be in a relationship you aren't confortable with.

If you want some advice for your specific situation, feel free to open a thread about it!

Never, ever acceptable *unless* your partner knows and fully approves *before* you first go on the dating site *and* the people you are talking to also know the arrangement.

Otherwise, the lack of authenticity takes you out of your own sense of authentic self, people get hurt, and you create shame for yourself.
