OK so my college needs at least 2.6 in order for me to be accepted and well... i'm from syria and idk how to calculate my GPA ! i dont have credit hours to begin with my previous high school years transcript have been sent to them but the latest exam is not that good anyone knows how do colleges calculate GPA for international student from outside the states? currently I have applied for south dakota state college I got accepted but They require the final transcript for everything else to be ready how will this effect my acceptance.... i'm actually in tears now scared i just hate how my luck turns out,do you think they might drop acceptance because of this
You can google "USA College GPA calculator" and you will find many websites that will help you to calculate your GPA. I agree with cuteboyever just google it and you will find one the one I used was gpacalculator(dot)net it helped me through collage and has a friendly interface and all. simple to use and is for both high school and college.
You can also contact the university directly and ask them if they have a foreign-US GPA corresponding chart. This is what I did myself, given that the grades we get in Finland are way different than those given in west-Europe. Good luck! =)
