    I've never heard of an advanced diploma. But I'll give my limited knowledge.

    Diplomas:
    Tend to be given from colleges for more "practical", hands on things like carpentry, welding etc. I also think they may be cheaper and the program for three years instead of four? Although colleges tend to have diploma programs, they can also have a few Bachelor programs.

    Bachelor:
    Tend to be from universities (more expensive) for more theoretical things.

    I'm not too sure how accurate this is though, but it is at least for the ones near me.
