I'm bi and my best friend is straight. I've been in love with him for a while. I know I'm wasting my life crying over something that can never be. It's really hard to move on though. Any advice?

I've been through the same situation a lot, and there isn't really much you can do. Just remember that there are always other people out there, and yes, no one will ever be like him...but at least he's your best friend, and you're a lucky person who can treasure that friendship. There'll always be someone else.

Is the cause hopeless, as in has he sent you strong signals or had intimate interactions with you previously, or are your feelings entirely unrequited? If so, just move along.
