Hey so I am in desperate need of LGBTQ friends and in one of my college classes there's a guy that seems gay. I know, you can't judge based on stereotypes, but I really need someone to talk to that's within the LGBTQ community. In that case, would it be offensive to ask him if he's gay?
It could come across as offensive, especially if it turns out he isn't. You could just try befriending him and try to figure it out through direct discussion/interaction with him. Or if you want to take a more stealthy/stalkerish route you could try creeping on his social media and see if you come across anything
