    I have not set any preferences since I am not out and setting it to male feels like a lie!
    So if there's no preferences on that setting she/he might be in the closet but aware of her or his sexual orientation.

    I agree with Imgay47. It's not always the best indicator. I've known of several closeted people who put their "Interested In" section as the opposite sex. Sometimes they do it to hide the truth from people who may suspect them.
