HI everyone i hope you all had a good new year, at the moment i'm struggling with an essay that i'm trying to write, its about the positives of LGBT young people in the youth services and all the services won't talk to me as they are afriad i will "out" a young person and i have already told them that its not what my essay is about...would anyone have any materials i could read and use in my essay?? hope someone can help me!!:bang::bang:
Maybe you could make a list of questions you have for your essay, and use some examples when talking to the youth services. For example if you're wanting to know if, in general, the youth who go there have seemed happier, you could ask even over the phone what the director/counselor's opinion on the effect on youth's happiness they've had. Make it clear you don't even need or want information on the youth who attend, but rather information from the people who run the service and what they've observed.
