I never experienced this. But I wonder...there is this girl. We're friends and somehow I thought about what it would be like if we were a couple. I wouldn't say no if she asked but wouldn't ask myself. She's really cool. Got humor, you can have fun with her. She's clever and we have a very similar taste in music. She is one of the few people who would never complain about my bad habits and this would be important for me if I were looking for a relationship. We can discuss politics and this is pretty similar too. So according to personality it's just a great match. And looks. She is beautiful but doesn't quite get that I wonder if I feel something more than friendship. Or if it's just a hypothesis because we would match well.
If you feel like you want to get closer to her, then go for it. Don't over-analyse things. Try hanging out with her more, take it slowly. If you wind up not feeling anything beyond friendship then that's fine, you still got yourself a good friend. But if stronger feelings develop then... You'll just know, I guess. Sorry if that's not helpful but that's just how love is. It's difficult to describe how to know if you're in love, as it just happens.
