I've been wondering about doing a career and getting some passive income in order to protect myself against getting fired from homophobic offices/jobs and then getting some independence, as well as protectinf myself from getting killed and beaten up. I also live in a homophobic country, so I wonder if it's possible. I'm so fearful

I'm not sure how much money is able to help protect you in a homophobic country, but you may be able to use it to move if you have a lot of money. However, that doesn't mean money can't help you, it really does depend on your location and what options there are. I think if you are very worried about your safety, it is best to stay in the closet right now. I know it's really hard not to tell people but if it could mean a difference between life and death, I think it is worth it. Once again, it is really hard for me to give you any solid advice as I do not know your exact situation. Keep in mind that if anything I said does not seem right to you that what you do is your decision, I am merely doing my best to help

I hope that you are able to find a solution that works well for you and that you end up in a safe and accepting place in life <3
