    I just got elected a member of local LBGTQ equality group what are some ideas on how educate the community.

    Well, that's sort of an open-ended question. I think your first steps would be to answer these two questions.

    * Who specifically do we want to try to get a message out to?
    * What specific message do we want to try to convey?

    Those answers will help you figure out how to educate the community.
