Hi. I was just wondering-what is the difference between being in love with someone vs. having a crush? Thanks, I'm curious. I'm really wondering considering if I have the definition right in my head, that I've only had crushes on guys but have never fallen in love with them vs. girls who I'm 98% sure I've fallen in love with. I'm young and confused so I'm just wondering what the difference is. Thx!
Love is a sticky topic- it's something that can't really be defined. I believe it varies from person to person. But generally, a crush does not yield as strong or serious feelings as love. But if you want a more concrete answer, psychologists have said that once a crush lasts for more than 4 months, it could be love.
