I made a thread that is mostly based on the Late Bloomer so to speak. Many times we find struggles just living as a family and the different issues LGBTQ families have from Hetero Normative families. I stay away from the word couples and use families as all families ore not just couples. I have found over the years that we should do all we can to keep from falling into the straight misogynistic hetero mentality believing they have the rule book. Much of what we can learn is IMO incorrect. So as I find books which address life in the LGBTQ lane I will list them here. Hugs
Handbook of LGBT-Affirmative Couple and Family Therapy Edited by Jerry J. Bigner, Joseph L. Wetchler
The book takes on topics like raising children, sex therapy and coming out.
