So NOW I've finally become completely comfortable with my sexuality (FINALLY), told friends and everything. But, I feel like I'm almost obligated to explore this "freedom" and get out there in the world. The problem is I don't know how. (I tried talking to this one guy in my class who I think is gay, and yeah it was a mess, I felt like I was tripping over my words, but he was super shy so he didn't exactly make it easy). I'm a mega nerd who has basically been studying and working for the last 3 years. Anyone have any advice?
Hi, Here something from a sticky thread here at EC: (Relationships) http://emptyclosets.com/forum/famil...king-relationship-simpler-than-you-think.html There's some great advice therein!
Congratulations! I'm sort of in the same situation as you. What I would say is to take time in figuring out what to do. Being here definitely helps. In addition it's good to try and seek out friends like yourself as well, which as I read you are trying to doing. A kind of a corny yet awesome quote but "You've taken your first step into a larger world" lol
Congratulations SomeKid are you out to your family yet? I am only out to some friends, my family will be my next goal ride:
