Not sure where else to post this. I went to my first group therapy session (a gay men's group, obviously) yesterday. Great bunch of guys, all having different issues (and all much further along than me in their journey, but extremely supportive nonetheless) Obviously not going to say anything that was discussed specifically, but I now know that the grass is not always greener on the other side of having a relationship. All in all, I left the session feeling great about myself, and thinking that I've found some people that can help me through this (they all have experience!) Looking forward to next week!
Not precisely, though he is the one that referred me. It's run by another therapist who is one of his friends, I think. The room is somewhat small for five of us (but hey, it's NYC, we're used to cramped spaces!), but it will work out. I just worry when number six joins
