Any advice no coming up with a female name? I know this is a huge deal because this is the name that I am going to have the rest of my life. I have a bunch that I like but i am just at a standstill with picking one.

    Kylie (my name is kyle)
    Michelle
    Kelly
    Stephanie
    Ashley
    Cortney
    Kristen
    Samantha

Any of these? Or if you have a personal favorite that you want to suggest I am ALL for it

I love the way Kristen sounds, but I think if I were you I'd look up the meanings of all those names and pick according to that.

It might be hard, but go with what you feel suits you or that you like. For me, picking a name is like deciding on what tattoo to get; where I found something with personal meaning that I liked (choosing a middle name has been the most difficult part of the whole process for me so far).

You can also check baby name books or websites for help if you're still unsure about what you want to go for.

do you like Kylie? It seems to be at the top of the list. lol
    I actually like the name.

the other ones seem played out. After Kylie, Kristen is my next choice.

    I too like Kristen.

As for suggestions... If I could rename myself, I might go with Catalina or Violet. And, as a lover of Greek mythology, I've always loved the name Leto and Clio (or Cleo, if you want a different spelling of it. She is the muse of poetry, while Leto is the mother of Apollo and Artemis and a goddess of the moon).
    Good luck!

Me choosing for you won't be beneficial. You have to choose what name you prefer, what name you want.

Out of that list, I like Kylie and Kristen. But yeah, I'd look more into them and choose a name that you really want.

You probably know this, but I feel like I should add this disclaimer for good measure. The names above are based on my personal preferences and might not fit you. So, yeah, as everyone else said, it's a very personal issue and should be treated as such. It's definitely not my intention to pick for you... you should find a name that makes you happy.

Like I said, that's probably obvious, but I didn't mean to imply anything offensive.

    Anyway, good luck again! (*hug*)

Haha yeah I guess it's at the top of the list bc of my boy name kyle. I have heard that changing a name similar to the one of a birth name may tend to backfire bc it will remind yourself of your past, but them again others says its a smooth transition with a name familiar .

Those all sound so good... One thing you might want to think about though is that if you choose Samantha your friends will likely call you Sam. Don't know if that would be off-putting to you but I thought I might throw that out there.

Maybe figure out why you were named Kyle and follow the same logic. Like were you named after family, was there a particular meaning behind your name that was chosen for you? For example, my mom wanted to name me Blythe (my real name doesn't work for this example) because it meant happiness, so if I wanted to find a name for myself I would look into other names meaning happiness.

This is just an idea and might not work. But, if it helps, all the people I've met named Kylie were really nice or cool, so I have a preference for that one.

I like Ashley, but then again that's my first name...lol.

Really though, all of those names sound really good. It really comes down to which ones that you like the best.

My favourites from your list are Stephanie and Samantha, but Kylie would be a great one too. Perhaps Kylie would be the best choice because it's not too different from your current name and people would probably have an easier time getting used to calling you by it.

Like Kylie too. Your parents gave you Kyle so Kylie is a way to honor the name they gave you at birth. If it means graceful I think thats lovely. If being more graceful is a goal on your journey then its just right.

I kind of like Jaclyn, Olivia, and Kaylee. Just some "uncommonly common" names I guess.
