If giving someone head made me lose my virginity, than I'm screwed--no pun intended.

But seriously, what is considered losing your virginity these days? I'm not religious or anything, but I don't even know.

It depends who you ask. Generally, I think most people consider losing your virginity when you penetrate/are penetrated as long as it isn't the mouth being penetrated.

Personally, I think that is a stupid definition. I think the definition of sex should be up to the people involved

I think any type of sex including oral = virginity loss

I go by your first sexual experience. whatever that may be, however everyone has a difference definition so just go with whatever you like.

I guess the penetrating/being penetrated would be the most common view.

But...it seems like a stupid label to me, because people can do so much blatantly sexual without cross the Official Virgin Line.

Even people who've never had sex with another person aren't necessarily totally sexually unexperienced. Many teenage boys, for example, spend a great deal of time rubbing their erect penises with hand lotion, and it ain't because the skin is dry.

I would define loss of virginity as having sex with another person. Sex with another person would be a situation in which you both work to pleasure each other, ideally to the point of orgasm for both parties (or all parties if you're into that sort of thing). Whether the pleasure (and orgasms) involves penetration is of no real importance.

    My 2c worth,

I'd say genitals have to be involved in some way when interacting with someone for sexual pleasure. If they are, consider your V-card expired.
