So... What are they like? (Not that I would ever go to one... At least not yet) It's on one of my support sessions we decided to go out and about and whilst we did that he pointed out all the gay bars in the gay scene and also said "that's ----- it's a gay sauna, I'll tell you more about them later"... Except he didn't and now that he is poorly and my support sessions have kinda stopped I am left wondering about a lot of things such as... What is a gay sauna like? Now I have did a bit research on the place and it is a decent nice place. It has private rooms as well more friendly areas as well as a cafe. It also mentions that staff will welcome new comers and give them a short tour of the place. It also says its a friendly and nice place where gay guys can meet others. It also states that you are under no obligation do anything if you do not want to ( well duh I knew that ) So what are they like? Have any of you been to one? Enjoy it? Hated it?
I think they're more or less sex clubs. I've never been to one but they have things like hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and other areas to have sex or mess around. Gay bathhouse - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yeah... I know. Just did a bit more research on them. Not ever thinking of going to one, I just think I'm a little bit curious
Pretty much the same as a bathhouse. (Which, when you think about it, it's kind of sad that if you have a "gay sauna", it immediately degenerates into a sexfest.)
I'll just say that roughly 100% of the people are there to have hook-up sex, and that you're about two decades younger than the standard gay sauna patron. Lex
I'm not saying I was gonna go... After reading a bit more and that it really doesn't seem like something that interests me. Just curious as to what it was as it was sort of pointed out to me. Not in a way of "you have to go there" my support guy was just showing me the gay scene and pointing out everything to me so I knew what was what Thanks for the responses
