I live in a country where being a lesbian is a big NO - NO. is it possible to have support even when you're living somewhere far, in a country where you could get arrested or fined for being an LGBT?!
I think that as long as the people that you tell are fine with it, and you trust them, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, as long as you don't go running around the street screaming, "I like girls!"
