Likely 18, as that is the age of adulthood, but most doctors would probably be Really hesitant to do it until you are about 21. I demand someone else answer about cost.
The cost is going to vary, and insurance coverage will vary from company to company (most do NOT cover this), but you can expect to pay at least $10,000 (anything less than that will be sketchy quality-wise, and who wants a crappy vag, am I right?) out of pocket. Dr. Marci Bowers is highly recommended for this procedure, and her fee is approx. $23K, I believe. So, yes. Plan on saving for a while. Try and fundraise, do benefits, etc. and squeeze every penny till its eyes bulge out. This is my plan, although I'm really not even going to think about SRS until I get into a better situation and can STOP doing DIY (hopefully, that will be soon, now).
