Default Birth Control and FTMs

I am FTM, but I don't want to take testosterone.
I go through times when I want to take birth control in order to stop my period (by just skipping the sugar pills). Not sure if I'd be able to handle admitting my femaleness long enough to get the pills, though.
Here are my questions, since I can't find answers anywhere:
1. I have had top surgery. Is there any chance birth control would make my boobs grow back? If there is even the slightest chance, I'm not interested.
2. What are any dangers of skipping your period in this way? Will it be bad for me long-term?

I'm not sure when/if I will be getting a hystorectomy. It depends mostly on funding.

Thanks if anyone knows the answer to this~

Some MTF transsexuals take progesterone--which are birth control pills--to help enhance the effects of estrogen. Given that, I'd say that since you aren't taking any hormones to get rid of your estrogen, it could cause stronger feminine secondary characteristics: more fat to the chest, butt, and thighs.

There's no harm in skipping periods. In fact, I've heard it may even be healthier than having a monthly period.

Are there any doctors in your area that you know are very open to the idea of transgendered people who might be willing to help you answer your questions and address your concerns for sure and possibly prescribe the medication if that is what you choose? Also, if they understand why you want to take the medication, they will be able to help you choose the best medication to be able to skip periods safely and consistently, and they may also be able to provide the medication without an exam so it might not be so difficult for you to deal with.

You should see a physician who works with FTM, especially if you are considering an oophorectomy (removal of the ovaries).

There is a public health clinic in my city that should be trans friendly, in theory. But I don't know if they actually are. I was just checking to see if this is a plausible course of action before I go down there and make a fool of myself :P

I do have the name of a specialist, however I'm still recovering from top surgery, so I am waiting a bit before looking into bottom surgeries.
