I go through times when I want to take birth control in order to stop my period (by just skipping the sugar pills). Not sure if I'd be able to handle admitting my femaleness long enough to get the pills, though. Here are my questions, since I can't find answers anywhere: 1. I have had top surgery. Is there any chance birth control would make my boobs grow back? If there is even the slightest chance, I'm not interested. 2. What are any dangers of skipping your period in this way? Will it be bad for me long-term? I'm not sure when/if I will be getting a hystorectomy. It depends mostly on funding. Thanks if anyone knows the answer to this~ |

Given that, I'd say that since you aren't taking any hormones to get rid of your estrogen, it could cause stronger feminine secondary characteristics: more fat to the chest, butt, and thighs.

Also, if they understand why you want to take the medication, they will be able to help you choose the best medication to be able to skip periods safely and consistently, and they may also be able to provide the medication without an exam so it might not be so difficult for you to deal with.

I do have the name of a specialist, however I'm still recovering from top surgery, so I am waiting a bit before looking into bottom surgeries. | |
