I just got out of a 3 year relationship 2 weeks ago and my ex boyfriend was really the only gay friend I had. He also helped me accept being gay personally, so it's been hard losing that source of strength in my life. Although I'm not 100% out, I felt like I needed to make more gay friends because my current friends in school (most of which know I'm gay) are all straight. I still talk to my ex everyday, but the breakup is still pretty recent so it's painful to talk to him. I'm just trying to find someone new to talk to, take my mind off my ex, and become more comfortable with talking to others about my sexuality. So that's why I joined these forums!  |
