Here's hoping I remember how to use a forum correctly and did this intro post okay..  I'm a Uni student -- in Gender Studies -- and interested in social work. I love to volunteer and am a huge nerd (honestly, StarTrek, Farscape, MMPR, Cybersix, Stargate, Digimon, Batman, X-Men and way more..hah) I appreciate all kinds of music & love going out dancing. I'm not one to censor myself, but I don't really enjoy offending people (just shocking some gray into their hair) and I love my kitten, who makes me smile even on the worst of days...(and today just seems to be getting worse and worse).. I joined this site cos I had a bit of a tiff today with my folks over something they can afford to take lightly, seeing as they seem to identify as heterosexual and believe language is not at all something they have to deal with...ugh, long story short (cos I can go on for ages) it was not a fun time (and I just wanted to find some more people to chat with outside of my Pride group).. Sometimes I think my folks just don't really believe I am Queer, or rather, Pansexual--even though I've identified along those lines since I was about 13--have not been het since before then and have never been quiet about my own sexuality--I am now in my 20s and it's like my family thinks I'm a joke. Obviously not the worst coming out story around, but...it's frustrating as all heck. I'm finally out and proud now that I'm in Uni though and everyone knows...or rather, most everyone is welcome to know.. um, besides that.. I love gaming, cafes, manga/anime, graphic novels and old 90s kids shows (cos I grew up on them) and yeah! :3 Please Take Care of Me! Live Long & Prosper..
