I just think fish are the coolest creatures ever. I love watching them and learning about them. (I couldn't think of an appropriate yet unique title for a welcome thread, so I just started off by telling you something about me.) In other news, I am either bisexual or pansexual or something along those lines. I like certain feminine traits, and certain masculine traits. As for genitalia, I prefer hotdogs, but tacos are ok, too. Personality-wise, I like both strength and compassion, from either gender. I despise the typical male attitude, but I also dislike the typical female attitude. I hate it when people wear makeup. But I love long hair. I also like androgyny. Also, I really feel a bit more like a guy than a girl. I don't think about it often so it's not that big of a deal, but when someone accidentally calls me "sir" or something, I'm not at all offended. I have had people tell me that I walk like a guy. Whatever that means. I also dislike that I have a girly name. However for simplicity's sake, I live as a girl. Not a big deal-- Girls get away with being tomboyish/androgynous.  So, not sure which label to stick on me, but I'm not too concerned. I understand what I like in a person, even if I can't succinctly explain it. In the end, gender isn't a determining factor in whether I would date a person. My immediate family is very supportive of me. My dad and I make jokes about women being hot/pretty, and such. I have pretty much the most awesome dad in the world.  My extended family is supportive of me as an individual, but I know they are conservative Republicans and don't support GLBT rights. This is never directly addressed, but there is a silent conflict that sometimes frustrates me. They also can be rather racist and intolerant/ignorant of other cultures. Um I also like dogs and music. Those are my two favorite things. Not sure what else to put in my intro post, but if you have any questions, ask.  This seems like a cool place.
