Posts: 61 Join Date: Jan 2012 |  Hello! I'm New. Hello! I figured it was about time I finally got some support. I'm Gerit, from North Central Kansas. I was afraid to admit to myself that I was actually gay at first (I thought I was asexual for the longest time), but I've come to accept that. Gays are wonderful people, and I hope to talk to some of you.  I've not yet came out of the closet. I plan on coming out my senior year in high school, or after someone comes out first. I go to a public school with ~100 students 9-12, and nobody has ever came out before(ever). I plan to be the one who can break that barrier. I want to be in a monogamous relationship. (No sleeping around for me) I also enjoy cuddling. Thanks. Gerit  |

But perhaps you'll be the first to help others to take the step to be visible. I didn't begin the process until I was 17, even though I'd known since I was 12. I'm not going to lie, coming out is not easy, I have lost loved ones along the way- but I've also learned who accepts me for who I am and that's a great thing to know! You do not need to rush this, take your time, there is no limit. There are always people here to help and support you whatever your problem, even if you just want to talk about television! You have made a great first step by joining- I wish you the best of luck on your journey! |
