I finally found the word that describes me (no word can describe me, but this is most accurate)... genderqueer. I'm a bit into philosophy type stuff (no formal studying). I believe words have different meanings for everybody, as we are all individuals and we associate experiences and what not with certain words. Each word has a personal meaning. Yes, I'm genderqueer. Can I define the word, not accurately. Some of you in this online community are trans. If you tell someone you're trans, and that you're let's say... a guy stuck in a girls body and that it's painful thing on you emotionally, will they understand the same way as you understand it? Absolutely not. I've been struggling to define myself for 19 years. The past 8 or so I've been rejecting myself. This week I have finally come to terms with what/who I am. "To define is to limit" is my favorite quote. What I told you in my first paragraph probably explains my thinking more than anything else. And my thinking explains who I am in a sense. Crazy? probably. I prefer the word... enlightened.  |
