Very excited - I been on here since February on and off Very recently applied for full membership and have been approved Sat in chat room for a while - alone - someone visiting but did not want to share - thats OK Looking forward to meeting you guys in the future
I was just approved today! It seems pretty cool so far . Can't wait to use the chat room, it was empty when I went on earlier today.
I thought about applying for full membership then I just get more addicted to the website. I will get around to applying soon and then join a few of you in chat.
Aww I wanna join the "full member" club :'( But I haven't been here for more than two weeks. It's only been one week x_x What am I missing out on, by being regular?
Congrats, Derrik- Today must have been the day they notified everyone--I became a full member today, too! Congrats to you and everyone else who became a full member today. (!)(!)(!!)(!!)(!)(!) --Zoe
Hey, congrats to all who were recently "promoted". I've tried out chat several times, derrik...it's generally dead or dying, and it's pretty rare that people will talk to you. The forums here are much more interesting and worthwhile. To me, the ability to send and receive pm's is the real benefit to full membership. And skiff...just LOLOL!!!
I plan to apply for full membership soon. One of my main motivations is to be able to network with others who are GLBT teachers, or are going into teaching. I haven't found many resources on the net or support groups for gay educators, and so far, this site has given me the best insights. So I'd like to be able to talk more via PMs, and such. I just have to stop being lazy, and apply! Congrats to all those recently approved
I just got full membership too! Can't get into the Chat Room. I use an ipad and I think I need some flash chat device or app. I have no idea about this. Can anyone help me it with the tech stuff? Thanks.
Yeah, the chatroom is an evil flash based thing. When it works, it's actually half decent. I don't understand the comments on people in there won't talk though. I've recently started hanging out there myself, and if you inject yourself into a conversation (admittedly, a lot of the time it's goofy stuff - join the goofiness!) then people will talk. It is definitely a different crowd than you'll find here on the forums regularly, but that's no reason not to engage.
