The recurring theme in the "interview" is that change has occurred at an accelerating pace, both in people's physical constitution and in society, and that it will only continue, at an accelerated pace. It's about making peace with change, it seems.

I was so discriminatory against people above 30 when I was in my 20s.. Now that I am in my 40s and the grey is coming in, I cannot help but feel horrified at what a jerk I was..

Different strokes! That's what makes the world go around. When I was in my 20s, I saw lots of 40-somethings who turned my crank.

But, yes, ageism works in both directions, especially the further the spread.

    Hi,

I don't have issues with aging myself but I do get frustrated by behaviour of some slightly older people.

My aunt lived to be 99. She kept an active mind, and young, curious spirit all her life. But many seem to enter a fog of disinterested oblivion.

    I want to avoid that.

The book is interesting; I might have to download the kindle version of the book.

Thanks for the recommendation. It looks like it will be on target for me as I feel it is so hard to rebuild my life at my age. I do take little steps everyday.
