I'm a bit nervous

    I am 54 and slowly coming out. Tonight I am coming out to a group of friends (male and female) that I play cards with. I'm so nervous. Some I think will be accepting, but there are a couple that I know, who will not be. Not sure why that bothers me, except for the fact, that I think everyone deserves to be who they are, and I want to be accepted by everyone, and I know that is impossible.

    I would probably want to tell 1 or 2 that I knew would be supportive that way they could have had info and be better equipped to offer support. Especially. If u anticipate some unfavorable responses. Good luck. I will be thinking about you. Let us know how ur doing later.

    Thanks everyone! I am chickening out, lol. I think I will start by just telling a few that I know will be supportive! Maybe that is the best way to do it.
