Well, as they say, all good things must come to an end.

I am finishing up my time in SoCal and have to drive that long stretch of highway 5 between north and south tomorrow. While I've been here I have settled firmly into an exciting career change. Made some new friends. Been twice to a lovely venue. Found a whole lot of peace and acceptance within myself. Made some decisions about what comes next and what I will just let pass away. I even got my first derogatory remark leaving the bar tonight, and you know what, it didn't phase me. I am who I am and wouldn't want it any other way (well, perhaps a bf would be nice sometime soon).

A little nervous about heading back to family and crazy circumstances back in SacTown, but, I think I've made some progress, passed to another stage, and perhaps it will all be OK. I'll keep you all posted.
