An Apology to my EC Friends

    Hey Friends
    I owe some of you an apology. This past week sucked. Can't share but it really really sucked. I was so caught up in my pity party-downward spiral that I unfriended all my EC friends. Was going to close account too. I'm sorry.

    New day. New breath. Time to kick crap's ass and move forward.
    This has been a long crazy year. Joy. Sadness. Anger. Surprises-both good and bad.
    Hoping 2014 will be one of new beginnings and joy for all of us. (&&&)

    Rose!! I was in Woodstock Vermont yesterday and say a flannel store and thought of you (or at least your comments on thread about the move). I even took a picture to share, but since that is hard in this neighborhood, you'll just have to trust me :wink:

    The point is, I am so glad that you are still here. You don't need to apologize for a thing. Take care!!!

    I can understand, though, the impulse to delete the account. I've had that impulse a few dark times...

    My EC friends have helped me thru so much since I joined in March. Often A lifeline when I was sinking fast. Though I have family and friend support, its my EC friends that understand the ups & downs of coming out.
    I do get very frustrated sometimes. I don't have an in- person gay support group of friends yet. I really do need to get out socially. Gone from married hermit to almost single semi hermit. Need a 'kick in the butt' ....and a date..... :slight_smile:
    And somebody please "yell" at me. Have not used my new gym membership yet!

    I'm brand new here, but reading all the supportive responses to your apology just confirms that I've found the right place to be. Even though I don't know you yet I'm glad you're back and I'm looking forward to being your friend! To an awesome new year for us all!

    I go to the gym all the time, nothing like putting on the iPod and just taking out your frustrations.

    Get thee to the gym, Rose. You never know who you might meet there, and you can't call yourself a hermit when you are getting out to work out regularly. When your body feels better from exercise, so does your head, and you sleep better and look better.

    (&&&) Hey Rose! I haven't been on here for awhile either so didn't notice that you were gone! You KNOW you are loved here so don't you dare take off again (unless, of course, you are going to the gym)!

    Lots of hugs girl! I've been out to everyone 11 months today. Gonna celebrate with friends in January I think! (&&&)
