Hi My buddy just teased me about my OCD over move planning. Made me realize since I was married I planned, over orchestrated everything to protect the closet that now expanded to wife and kids. Have to learn to be spontaneous again. Tom
I hear you, spontaneousness is something I lack. As you guys probably can tell I tend to over analyze everything
I, too, am trying to add more spontaneity to my calendar -- I think I have an opening next Tuesday at 4:45 PM... :icon_wink
when people ignore me and things don't work out like they would have if they had listened in the first place, I tend to spontaneously combust.... does that count?
I remember being spontaneous many years ago... I'm more like Rick now, it's spontaneous combustion. I need... Strike that, I want to change that!
Got married and my world got smaller. Schedules, punctuality, plans. Spontaniety, ended shortly after the honeymoon. Drinks Fridays, too tired. Dinner out, how about take out. Go into town, parking's such a problem. And this was before kids or the move back Rochester. We were DINK's in D.C.!
hmmmm... honeymoon was scheduled and planned out daily. all vacations are scheduled and planned out daily. weekends are scheduled. after school is scheduled and planned. basically I've come to view my life as an agenda, checking off assignments when I show up.at the door for the next item on the list.
