Hey, so I came out as trans in July, just before my 20th birthday.
I had known I was male my entire life, learned that there was actually a way to realise that when I was probably about 15, and had wanted to come out eversince, but periodically talked myself out of it, or got cold feet.
So I'm out perhaps later in the game than I ever wanted to be, and that's... hard.
But I'm a stronger person at 20 than I was at 15, and I believe now I can do this right.

That being said, I plan to start testosterone in January.
I've read everything I can find on the effects of HRT, everything it does, and the risks involved, and I'm resolute in my decision to go through with this.
My question is to any veteran of testosterone, anyone on it for a number of years.
What are some things you would want me to know going into this? Any warnings or advice?

Thanks so much to any and all who answer this.:help:

Might there be more answers if this thread was moved to gender identity expression ?
