I'm new here, and posted in the Welcome forum, but as a 52 year old gay man struggling with all kinds of stuff, I figure I'll spend most of my time in this forum. I've learned a lot just reading through the posts here, so thank you already!
Hi Sighofrelief2, welcome to EC! It's definitely a struggle, as are most worthwhile things in life. I hope you also gain from interacting with us, of the "older set"!
Happy you found your way to this forum, and even happier that I have found it as well. Your post introduced me to it! I am 58, out only to myself and a very few other people. I feel at this stage of life that I am hopelessly serving a life sentence in this closet. But, seeing your post, I am hoping to at least hear what other people who are in similar situations have to say. There is still hope, though I'm not sure how long that sputtering wick will survive.
