Note one, but two American country music artists came out today as reported on Queerty.com:

I'd never heard of Herndon before today, but I'm a fan now. His video "Lies I Told Myself" really moved me.

And so did this one: "Lightning in a Bottle" just released by openly gay pop artist Eli Lieb.

Wow, "Lies I told Myself" this was one touching video, very nicely done, excellent words, music and clip. It is amazing every day there is a remarkable progress.

I hope that this would make some changes in some of the other more strict countries too. Many of them are still in the dark ages when it comes to acceptance and equality.

I grew up listening to country music, and always liked Ty Herndon. I'm thrilled he is now able to be open about this part of himself. I agree "Lies I Told Myself" is a beautiful song.
