    Greetings folks,

At the place I worked prior to my current employment, I occupied a cubicle, and next to me sat a handsome 25 year-old for the last 2 or so years that I was there.

I taught him the job, and he was a quick study. When I came out to a female colleague over there, I confessed to her that I thought he was super-cute. I also came out to him a little later, with no fanfare and plenty of acceptance (he kind of picked up on my hemming and hawing rather quickly, I thought).

Well, of course you all know where this is going...no talk of a girlfriend, rather discreet about his private life, and being a big fan of Coldplay (well that clinches it, LOL!).

Well I found him on a gay dating app, and I am pretty certain it's him! As he can see me on the site too, I sent him a message indicating that I was smiling from ear to ear and that I am the paragon of discretion.

It seems my profession: managing clinical research projects, is particularly rich in gay guys...I have no idea why...

Well, I am gay, and I am not a fan of Coldplay :tears:

But very cool discovery nonetheless. The next logical question now is, what do you plan to do with him, being how cute you think he is, now that you have that new information?

Absolutely nothing other than maintaining our previous acquaintance, way too young and all that! I'm just tickled by the whole thing!

    - check.
    - check.
    - I like that one song "Viva La Vida" but know nothing about the group or their other songs. I had no clue there was a link as there is with dance music.

But, in terms of a personal vibe in a work setting, does he set off gaydar if one didn't know those things about him?

Then it all became real when you saw him on a dating site. You handled it well and kept him from going into alarm mode or something similar to that. Funny story.

    GW,

    Wait a bit...

The guy you CURRENTLY work with, are friendly with at work pops up on online dating, you recognize each other, ask if he has any questions and he replies "After 30 years in the military I have no questions, seen it all".

We are better work buddies now. He says "bisexual" but when your girl in every port is sporting breasts and penis I am not sure that counts... LOL

NO OFFENSE meant ladies. You have to know him.

Hey GW it's great to know your Gaydar works. I also like Coldplay and drool over the base player Guy Berryman whenever I see him on the videos.

Yeh, White Goods are no where near as melodramatic as their music is!

    Ok...

I despise drama. That explains that.

Dramaqueens are common in gaydom. In dating profiles "drama free" is common.

I think he doth protest too much.
