I can't remember the exact date that I blatantly came out to friends (I had hinted to nieces the summer before) but it was in January of 2013. It's like being "born again" for me. A world that I didn't know existed opened up to me and after years of clinical depression and suicidal tendencies my life made sense. So - for those of you who are contemplating the coming out process - find a confidante or two and do it. Chances are that people already know. My friends did. Lol...

    Happy LesbiAnniversary!

I think the 2nd is leather. Or maybe silicone. I don't remember.

Oh Biotech. I can't imagine that a truer statement has ever been shared on EC. Personally? I lost count of how many people swore that they knew long before I did.

What a fantastic post, great advice, and wonderful celebration! For all those that have yet to come out to those closest to you? Take this sage woman's advice!

Thanks for sharing and congrats on your new lease on life!!!

I could not agree more I also feel like I have been reborn. I am probably where you were 23 months ago. I mostly feel amazing.

Yay for coming out, those about to, and those who will. It takes a lot of courage, is very scary, but definitely worth it.

People are generally pretty good at figuring out most other people's sexual wiring, especially after any prolonged contact and communication with them.

    The surprises are few.
