    OK, so this weekend I get to see the woman I am interested in. I'm really hoping to get a chance to spend some time with her without looking weird or stalker-ish. :slight_smile: I really hope a good opportunity presents itself! If not this weekend or the weekend after, then I don't know when I will see her again - could be a very long time!

    Thanks everyone! I keep reminding myself that if you don't ask, the answer is always no!! She's a judge for the event I'm going to, so I might not get a chance to talk to her except for the times when she's actually judging ME (and my dog), and that would definitely not be an appropriate time to make a move! haha

    well on the good side she gave us a 2nd place...on the bad side we only got to speak a little, she was busy judging all day and there was no other opportunity to talk without being obnoxious. Maybe tomorrow or next weekend. Thanks for the good thoughts all!

    Congratulations on the award. Obviously, she must share your appreciation for your pet. I've always thought that pets can be such a soft way to start conversations with people whom we want to get to know better. Having been in the competition together really gives you a conversation starter! Good luck with the real big event -- having that next conversation with her! :goodluck:

    You guys must have sent out awesome vibes because there was a rare perfect opportunity today, she was sitting waiting for an exhibitor and I went over to talk to her. We had a nice but totally vibeless conversation, I invited her to come and train with my group but she politely declined saying it was too far away. Kind of what I expected, but I had hoped for at least some vibes...nope.

    I was proud of myself for trying though! If any of you read my rejection therapy thread, you know this is something I'm working on! Got rejected and it was perfectly fine.

    Hi there! Trying is all that matters. Even with the rejection, you can still walk away from it with something. Being fine with the rejection and being able to channel your energy towards another try or someone who might give you a 'yes' is already a big accomplishment. (*hug*)
