GayDad and I will be there....of course you may not see much of us.... In all seriousness, though, the emotions surrounding this kind of a tectonic shift in your life, attitudes, expectations, assumptions etc. are huge and confusing. I can be down in the dumps one day, and high and goofy the next. And that's with someone I can share the ride with on a very personal level. Make sure you take care of yourself as best as you can. If you're an extrovert, give yourself plenty of time with people, and if you're an introvert like me, fight for those few hours (or minutes--I know how that goes) to be alone and recharge, or carve out a little time for something you love doing. And no one is going to just give you that time--you have to actively fight for it, even when you're worn out, because we're all used to being there for everyone BUT ourselves. You are important and you matter. Don't ever forget that. (&&&)
Hang in there Pal! I'm still living the lie! If you are even out a bit your doing better than most. Here 4 U anytime
Hang in there dear. I am beginning to feel the shift and the resulting shift on my psyche already. The days are getting longer and the horizon is growing brighter. The new day is coming, just breathe deep and remind yourself, "this too shall pass". (*hug*)
