Well, my first appointment with a therapist is on Thursday, I am moving towards HRT finally. Just a bit nervous of what I dont know about therapists and their position in deciding whether or not I get to start testosterone or not. Or how long one will make me wait to start HRT. Im 40 and everything feels like it takes forever to get going as far as transition goes. After all, Ive know since beyond high school!

That's awesome that you have your first appointment! It is scary that therapists do have a say, but unless there is a major red flag, they usually give the go ahead. You just have to be open and honest with your therapist, and all should hopefully go well from there. The general wait time for a letter is anywhere from 3-6 months. Some will wait longer. It really depends on the therapist though.
