I am going home this weekend for a week to help out the parents. I am a bit nervous since Ive recently come out as transgender and changed my name. Thus far it seems as though everyone has accepted, but still don't know what to expect.

They will probably make some mistakes at first like using she/her pronouns and using your old name. It might be a bit hard for them to adjust to having a son instead of a daughter, but just keep reminding them and they will remember. Good luck! If they have accepted then they will love you just the same.
